Monthly Meetings
Benfleet U3A meets on the last Tuesday of the month, except in December. The meeting starts at 14:00 and normally lasts for 2 hours. We meet at Richmond Hall, High Road, Benfleet, Essex SS7 5HA. Please note that Richmond Hall is no longer accessible by car via the High Road.
Whilst there is a car park for Richmond Hall, accessible via Richmond Avenue, it is also used for the local shops and so can be very busy before the monthly meeting. There are also carpark charges.
There is an alternative FREE car park at Richmond Avenue, a short walk away:
- From High Road, turn into Richmond Avenue by the Benfleet Tavern
- Drive past Richmond Hall car park entrance on left
- Bear right and drive past the "Goldenley Care Centre"
- Turn Left into Richmond Avenue car park.
Once parked please make your way back to Richmond Hall via Richmond Avenue.

Members' Meeting Tuesday 31 October 2023 on Halloween
Our meeting included many Group table displays showing group activities, visits and exhibits allowing members to find out more about what we do and the topics covered. If any member would like to know more about a group or to join a group, please view through the group list available at QUICK LINKS (group list in right hand column).
It was also a chance to meet our new Chairman, Fred Simpkins, and to see the spooky side of committee as you've never seen them before.
We were also entertained by the singing group The Ladybirds.
